Well, I have jumped out of the Uly fold for a while and even purchased a 09 CR, but I just can't get into it. So, I am shopping the bike around and have a few people interested in the CR. I have also located a 09 XT that hits the mark on price and I am working to get that deal closed. Hopefully I will get to come to April Buells day on a Uly instead of the CR. Wish me luck... Interesting. I rode a CR before I bought my XT and really liked the CR alot. However, I know me and I am not a kid or thin and I like to ride all day. I tried that once on a CR and it was not fun by the end of the day. I haven't regretted the XT at all. I would still love a CR for the shorter rides, but not being rich it is not happening right now. Thanks Dynasport. If you look at my profile picture, that Uly was the last Buell I had. I put 40k + miles on her. I live in Texas and did both coasts with her. The longest I could stand on the CR was 200 miles and my nuts went to sleep. I didn't realize it had happened until I went over a railroad track and had to get up off the pegs. I thought someone had splashed my crotch with cold water. Yep, time to get back to what I know and love. | ||

He got rid of Uly1 so he can get a SlowWing Oh, and its nice having small nuts, I've done 600 mile days on my 1125s more comfortably than my Uly.  | ||

yea it really sucks that there's 3 cr's for sale on the classifieds and i can't afford one of them. i did pay off the xt yesterday though and will be paying off another small bill as soon as it gets out in the mail so pay off a few more and we'll see what happens. good luck on getting the xt micah. can't blame you for wanting it. and froggy, the way you used to ride that uly, i'd say your cahone's were pretty big. | ||

I'm still trying to warm up to my CR but the Uly keeps calling me back. I thought seriously about trading my 07 X on a 2010 XT when the closure announcement hit; I even found one in stock the next day at Gainesville HD/Buell in Florida. I talked myself out of it and bought the CR at a nearby dealer instead. If I had it to do over, I think I'd go for the 2010 XT. I think I'll just wait to get a Uly-2 when Erik re-boots in a couple of years.  | ||
