I ordered a bunch of parts last Thursday and my dealer called me today and said everything came in. The bike looks good in 2010 yellow, I have the 2010 turn signals also, just not installed yet. I have the next four days off so I might get some time to install my Outdoorsman bags and Comfort kit Intake Cover Kit Yellow - M1224.5AKMAL Windscreen Kit w/Decal - M1601.5AKMAL GROMMET x4 M0231.1AKG PIN, mount x4 M0230.1AKB WINDSCREEN, SMOKE M0600.1AKMCD Turn Signals, RR Y0527.7AA Turn Signals, LF Y0503.7AA Turn Signals, LR Y0526.7AA Turn Signals, RF Y0504.7AA

I have an issue with the 2006 (new version) tall seat. It was really hard to install on my 2009 bike, it is hitting the ECM or battery??? ordered the Outdoorman bags when I bought the bike back in Dec. they came in 30 days later, just have not installed them yet (Message edited by two_buells on March 31, 2010) |

My tall seat has always been a tight fit (I have an '06, OEM seat). I put 2 ECM blocks on, that could be it...or my latch could be out of adjustment. Get some modelers clay and put a piece about 1/4" thick on the ECM, and on the battery. Also, make sure there's nothing in the way of the hooks that attach to the rails, right about where rider seat changes to passenger seat. Pull the seat, you'll see what I'm talking about. I've had wires (stuff I added) in the way before - welding is fun! |
