A friend and I drove from Rapid City, SD to Thief River Falls, MN to check out a bike I was looking at. A little road trip through about 700 miles of fog and rain. Met Myron on Saturday morning and gave the bike a look over and put it in back of the truck. Pretty easy putting it in a truck that's so low to the ground! Thanks Myron for the awesome deal and the bike is perfect and exactly as he said it would be. Myron is a great guy and gave an honest deal and I'm glad I met the guy. Hope to see you again some day! Thanks for the wonderful bike and all the extra parts! Pics from the trip: The only interesting thing to see (besides the bike I constantly looked at in the back of the truck) was the giant fan blades for the wind farm machinery. Eastern south dakota is terrible! Glad to be home though.

And I drove it today in about 34 degrees. Had my snowboarding jacket on and some Northface Vento pants. Combination of the big shield and the heated grips was great! Air cooled bikes love those cool temps! It was hard not to pull that front tire up that's for sure.

leaving Thief river Falls, MN. Had to make sure those low pro tires had enough air!

Beasty in the back

Huge!

50 miles from home in Wall Drug. Thank god!

Cool, another Larsen with a Uly! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have my 2006. I'm currently at 24,530 miles. This is the most mileage I have ever had on any bike.

You got it just in time for spring. Enjoy!

That's a tough ride for sure!

My first XB12s, I pulled home on a trailer all the way from DesMoines, Iowa to Fargo. I didn't think I could get it in the truck at the time. I watched it the whole way home!

My second was the new XB12xt in the back of my truck from Eden Prairie, MN to Fargo. Man, that one was tough since I bought it and only got the chance to put 5 or so miles on it right off the showroom floor. Thats what we get for taking advantage of good deals out of season up here!

Good work, and nice find! Enjoy those Black Hills with that carver! You are gonna love it!!

I already love it in two days of riding it. The 34 degrees it's been doesn't even faze me! I drove my Lightning all over the hills and never got sick of the ride. Now I can go off on those logging trails! Although I did with my 04 XB12S with no problems either. Just smacked the muffler a few times.

Xbeau12s congrats on the new ride! I used to live in Thief River Falls (for 5.5 years) when I worked for Arctic Cat. Myron was one of my riding buddies. He's a good guy and takes great care of his bikes. You got a good one!

Thanks for the comments! You can always tell a great guy when you shake his hand and Myron is one of em! This bike is better than a brand new one off the floor!
