Dear all, finally i can drive my new XB12XT(mfg date Oct 2008): I retired her on Friday afternoon, with all her bags installed. I decided to take her home to remove side bags. When i uninstalled them, one of the lock that block them on their frame,it's detached from its seat on the side of the bag: i can't believe!!!!It was attached with rivets(like Top case:there are only 3 rivets instead 4!!!)!! Someone of You know if exist a recall about Hepco & Decker bags? This evening i bring faulty's bags to my dealer... Regards. |

Yours is the first bag that I've heard of with that particular problem. I don't think that one bad bag is cause for a recall. It is cause for warranty repair/replacement, though. I don't think your dealer will have any trouble setting things straight. |

There is no recall. Make sure they use STEEL rivets, not aluminum. |
