Good to see they still couldn't make their last few bikes correct ITs not as bad as the 1125's. Just about everyone we've had the rear indicators have stopped working |

As far as I know, nothing changed for 2010 there except for the paint color. Makes me wonder the cause of this recall, especially for something that wasn't ever heard of here first. Possibly a bad batch from the vendor. David, I got two 1125's, neither of them have had a single issue yet. Actually, my CR burned out a tail light bulb a while back. |

According to that website: The potential number of units affected is 23. Does that mean 23 Uly's are affected? Is that a joke? The only other thing I can think of is that 23 parts are affected in each Uly, but there's no way, that'd be half the bike. |

That 23 refers the the number of bikes I think... Which makes me agree with Froggy and think it must have been a bad batch from a vendor. |

At least they don't have "porosity in the aluminum casting" like the 259 Ninjas. "Porosity"...I thought that was a made-up word, like one we invented at work when everyone is on the same page: "agreeocity". Ex: "We have reached full agreeocity that the Buell shutdown sucks." "Agreeance" can also be substituted. (Message edited by hooper on December 09, 2009) |

Porosity is actually a standard term in the foundries for a common casting problem, especially in aluminum. I've dealt with it from our suppliers in pretty much every job I have had for the past 17 years. It's basically trapped air in the part when the metal cools. I kinda like "agreeocity". Can I use it? |

Be mindful that there is a good chance that the vendor simply couldn't produce the paperwork for this lot. Simple. See if your vin is in the population. Get it fixed. |

Indeed they do, I have never seen a burnt out 1125 signal in my life. (Message edited by froggy on December 10, 2009) |
