For those who have an '07 or later model, have you noticed your seat getting more squishy and less comfortable as the miles pile on? I've got 12k and I have to reposition a lot more because it feels like I'm sinking/falling forward and it's not the suspension, tires, or anything else. |

If you're like me, your weight tends to go up as your bike gets older, which makes you think that the seat may be getting squishy... |

My weight goes up with the miles I put on my 2007 Uly too. At 20,000+ I assume I squish more than Trevd does. |

Nope - not yet. But my 08 only has 15K miles and the sum total of all my parts, including my butt only weigh 165#. Uly still comfy. |

Do we all agree that the 06 seat is more comfortable because it is more firm? (regardless of its height) I sat on one at formed this opinion instantly. |

My '06 came with the low seat on it and I got the tall one from the dealer too. I rode home with the low seat then sold it through this site. The tall seat is the most comfortable motorcycle seat I have sat on for long rides. |

I think the 09 stock low seat (not the $200+ gel low seat) is perfectly comfortable. Of course I weigh 140 lbs soaking wet.. |

Okc99, The guys at buellparts dot net have one of those ugly black/orange 06 tall seats for sale, $111. The original 07 seat on my bike had a definite forward bias. I found myself hugging the frame with my knees to keep from sliding forward. After several back to back all day rides (5,000 miles in two weeks), it felt like my skin was being torn from my rear. This was cured with an 06 tall seat. Strange, I kept getting a format error when I tried to put in the link for "buellparts dot net". Replace the dot with a ".". |

I love my stock 07 seat when I am back against the stop, But I keep sliding forward. After about an hour of riding in the front of the seat my legs start to tingle. If I move back the blood starts to flow and I am OK again. But I need to move forward when I put my feet down if I want them both flat on the road. (recommended since my wife or daughter tend to wiggle at intersections) I been reading here that Spencers has a fix for this "falling forward" affect. It looks like it cost $50.00 plus RT shipping. While he has it, should I pay to get the foam added/changed to the passengers position also? I am just waiting to read a long distance ride report of this report. Bought the 07 for my 06 cause of the seams feeling uncomfortable. I'm not really feeling any off issues with the new seat. Think I'll throw on the orig. seat for comparo. |

I have a new Corbin which is lower in the hole than the stock low seat so the forward slide is not noticeable. But I am 225# and may sink the bike's rear more. BTW...I don't need that Corbin. $300. I use the tall seat. |
