Today I had the opportunity to ride our latest BUELL,(XB12XT) to a work function. I am already known as that crazy guy on the motorcycle, so I didn't care that the rain forecast called for an 80%+ chance of rain. That is was accompanied by the gusty winds of tropical storm Ida didn't matter. riding after dark only reinforced my lust of extra lighting. today I was assured that this bike is my end-all be-}all motorcycle and I am deeply saddened that they will never be made again, as-is. At least I was able to get this one. BFFB ME} |

Closet- Glad it was a safe ride. Any upgrades recommended for a 105 mile one way ride home in the dark thru torrential rain, wind, and stop n go traffic? Twisty. |

Clutch adjustment, topcase lights, more front lighting, and good luck prying my butt out of the seat! (Message edited by closetbueller on November 11, 2009) |

Quote:I am deeply saddened that they will never be made again:Unquote Glad your ride went well. I too love my new Buell and today, while out on a ride, I thought that if I screw up and total it I'm s&^% out of luck! Hey, it makes us safer riders! |

and I almost got taken by a cager on my way in--wouldn't pull up next to me or look at me after her stoopid move. BTW I was wearing almost all yellow and retro-reflective |
