Author Message   Tneall Posted on Monday, November 09, 2009 - 08:21 am:        I installed ECMspy (V. 1.12.27) on my old Win98 laptop and everything works except it will not fetch the fuel maps or read the trouble codes. I get a 'failed to get firmware version' error. It will fetch the EEprom data. The overview, ECM runtime, and diagnostics all function normally. Anyone else had this problem or know what I'm doing wrong? I don't plan on doing any tuning just want to use it as a diagnostic tool.   Teeps Posted on Monday, November 09, 2009 - 08:47 am:        I.G. and kill switches must be on. Press the key button.
