I would just like to say that if I had more time and a babysitter for a long weekend I would have gladly taken you up on this deal. I really think that this is a great deal and the opportunity to carve some of those local roads on the way home is almost too good to pass up. However I had to go somewhat local to find mine. About four hours away. Comin' straight from the factory. How long would you say it takes to put the order in and then have the dealer get the bike. tanks. Again if you have the time take Fatty up on this offer. | ||

I don't know if we will be getting many if any 2010s. I don't know if we DO get any of the 2010s whether or not there will be dealer incentives. If we DO get 2010s and there ARE incentives, I don't know whether or not the scarcity of the 2010s will drive up the price above what a 2009 would go for. | ||

If you take the number (I think it was $70,000,000) that they allocated to move leftover product in the pipeline and divide by the number of bikes you can see there is plenty of cash. I think a dealer could ask for almost any deal from HD and get it funded. I'm going to be curious to see if they do any retro active stuff for the folks who bought in the 30 days prior . . . Judging by the number they threw at it they want ZERO inventory by December 18th. | ||

My guess is that there is a wide latitude in terms of what dealers can do . . . I mean these are the same Harley execs who used to hide motorcycles from their lenders and tell them they were sold. . . . they have a history of "creativity"  | ||

I think he meant the one with all the bikes in crates.  Although, we have a small collection of rare and exotic motorcycles in the "warehouse". They are among the bikes behind the "curtain of shame". | ||
