Hey, I will change fork oil, seals and springs on my Uly 2006 using the progressive springs of an Uly 2007. I'd appreciate if someone could indicate me which level the oil must have. I've checked several fork-threads, but haven't found this value (or my english isn't good enough for it). I suppose it's different than the OEM-setup on the 2006. Please help !!!! |

yes, its is different for 07 springs. My notes form my last 12X fork service say: I set my level to 172mm and put the tighter wound part of the springs up. |

fork compressed or extended for the oil level? Fork oil is measured while fork is collapsed without the spring in it. Whatever you do DON'T let go of the lower leg and let it drop after filling with oil. It WILL overextend and oil will shoot everywhere... Don't ask me how I know. |
