Apparently, Harley is going back to what they know, or think they know. MV is getting the boot along with Buell so HD can focus on its "core business". (In my world of consulting and analysis, 97% of the time that is company PR jargon for management failed to understand the market/consumers and flopped.) With HD closing MV as well, I suspect Buell will once again rise from the ashes through outside investors. I could think of a few that are probably scratching their chins right now. |

That's so true. Here in the beer business AB bought Eagle snacks, theme parks, ball team and others to diversify thinking their wonderful management style would make more profit. What they found out was their management style sucked and we made profit because 95 percent of our core product is Water! Now we just make beer. |

They are trying to sell MV Agusta like GM tried to sell interest in, or outright, Saturn, Pontiac, SAAB and Hummer. |
