Is it cost that prevents Buell from producing stainless steel mufflers? I'd be willing to spend extra for a factory SS muffler. My original FZ1 stainless exhaust was a beautiful piece that still looked like new after 100 k km. If Japanese manufacturers can do it, why not Buell? Also, what about the 1125 muffler? Same rust problems or not? |

Has anyone ever asked Erik about the rusty muffler? If so what was his response? Inquiring minds would like to know. Or what has BCS ever said about this? |

I should of asked him when I saw him at NJMP a few weeks ago, but I didn't even think of it. Honestly, a rusty muffler is low on my list of concerns. If they had to pick between a new muffler or the comfort kit for 2010, I think they made the right choice. Heres to hoping for better luck with this next year. |

I can't tell if my muffler is rusty, mud is too thick. Shut up & ride! If you want a show bike, by a chopper and some chrome cleaner. |
