well, kinda. Got a '08 XT bought from 4 River HD, supposed to pick it up tomorrow. Had a '97 M2 for a second bike, sold it and bought a KLR, the KLR's for sale and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the XB12XT. |

I got rid of an 09 KLR to get my Uly. I liked it around town and such, but at my age, it was a handful off road. Great move on my part as I really love the Buell. I've crossed several creeks with it and done a few two track rides, but nothing like I put the KLR through. Now I just ride the "pace" and enjoy all that horsepower/handling. Jack |

'08 KLR, took off-road twice with no dirt naps, was pushing my luck though. Too small/under-powered for pillion but still a great, fun economical ride. An '06 Uly replaced it and has the power & feel I was looking for plus room for the lady. I still have an old DR350 for the trail if I want to get dirty. |

KLR not enough power? I ride 2 up on my Blast no problem, and its got at about 10hp less than the KLR. |

Yep, the KLR was weaker than I anticipated. My main ride is a 95" mildly warmed up bagger and the KLR was just not the road bike I wanted. It is a great bike I just wanted more ponies. The XT has that in spades. |

Yep... The KLR is suitable for around town, pretty good in the twisties and fun to ride. But it really is under powered. Lofting the front wheel on demand is difficult... But it is a very dependable motorcycle sans the "Doo". |
