I could go for that Wolf. I know sport "sport tourer's" don't sell real well in comparison to other styles but I sure like'm too.
ABS should be a no brainer option for Buell since HD went with that sweet Brembo system that is now available. The system is very compact in term of components and could easily be fitted within the Uly framework
No question Froggy, grabbin a handfull of front brake with no fear of lock up would allow us all to gain a nice margin of safety in certain situations. Had ABS on some beemers and it just plain works. Sure it adds to some complexity of the machine but.....so what. I would like to be able to brake like Ben Spies as father time takes away some of our reaction times.

The only view of a bike I need to like is the one from the seat looking out as far as I can see ahead.  |

I will probably get a new one the year that I retire, thus I will be going into retirment with a new bike. Should be in three years. Or perhaps keep my Uly and it arthritis gets worse, get one of those there clutchless scooters/bikes. |

I'll report about my demo of the 2010 ULY next week. I'm leaving for Sturgis this Wednesday and it's about 550 miles, a good whole day's ride. So Thursday we'll head into Rapid City to the Civic Auditorium where Harley sets up and has it's HD and Buell demo's. I'm counting on the 2010 Buells being represented in the Demo's. We shall see. If they aren't being demo'd then I'll for sure take some pictures that'll get posted when we return. |
