yes fellas i know, ive searched this topic and read till my eyes went to bed without me. took my 2nd looong ride of the year last sunday, ive come to the conclusion that while i dont want a windsheild 80% of the time, i NEED some releif from the wind on these longer rides. maybe im getting old, maybe .but 70/80mph for 7 hours straight on the freeway felt like a workout, not the relaxed cruise that i had in mind. is there a setup that is available that would offer a smooth comfortable ride at speed without having to fight the air? i dont mean"i want the jetstream to hit me here n there". im lookin for somthing that would let meopen my helmet without losing an eye to a mosquito. im lookin at the palmer setup with the large screen, but does it really calm the ride down enough to be worth it? i really dont want to buy another bike just for longer trips. |

I love my Cee Bailey 16"...nearly the protection of my old Road King. Which is nice, since the Uly is my crappy-weather bike now (trying to keep the tubers as clean as possible...). |

im lookin at the palmer setup with the large screen, but does it really calm the ride down enough to be worth it? Of course it is I developed the larger screen to also provide visor-up riding at 70/80 mph, if you're about 6' tall. |
