Hey Guys, Who has seen a small leak form the Starter primary case area? It is just like a slight seep. I just bothers me to the point I have to clean up the run. Buell is connected to Harley. That doesn't mean they need to leak like them! UlyBrew |

Still got warranty?? I would have that one fixed. We (Buell riders) do not do leaks on XB's any more than chrome! At Wolfridgeriders parents home, somewhere in W.Virginia, we parked about thirty Buells and a couple of others, for dinner and a party, with no oil on the pavement. We have more than one reason for owning Buells. |

Mine doesn't drip but has always seeped in the starter area, enough to cause grunge to collect on the cases around the starter. The output seal has always seeped too, grunge collects around the rear muffler bracket, tensioner pulley, and the wiring bundle in there. For the last 30K or so the front of the cases have been seeping also. No drips anywhere, just creeping crud. |

Thanks guys, Xbimmer, you nailed it. Mine is more than creeping I noticed today. The muffler bracket area of the rusty muffler is wet as of today. We rode for 105 miles today. Nice weather here in Chicago in the upper 60s. I have the screws on the flyscreen recall ordered up and I need to take it in anyway. At a atop at Chicago Cycle, I did a closer inspection. There is a wet edge on the top cooling fin rear cylinder. Looks like the valve cover has a small leak. I don't want a leakin Harley. Mike |

If the top of the rockerbox is wet, it's likely the PCV (breather) grommet on the top. Easy fix. |
