Author Message   Midnightrider Posted on Saturday, April 25, 2009 - 06:32 pm:        Spark-skip mode after 30 minutes of 75mph today (93-ish temp) Stopped cooled it off for 10 minutes, same thing happens again 20 minutes later. If it's not setting a code; without an independent head temperature reading there is really no way to be sure. Either part is difficult and expensive to replace.   Barker Posted on Saturday, April 25, 2009 - 08:36 pm:        Damhik, a bad fan should give u a 36 trouble code but I think skip spark mode comes from the head temp sensor out of range. I'll do a search I just don't think its the fan - as there is plenty of air moving when I'm doing 75 Once I rode it when the first fan absolutely died. I have no idea if the3 fan was running at highway speeds. I want to say it was running when I stopped and shut down - but all I really know is that I heard the fan motor running.
