Anyone own a Buell Mesh Jacket? I need a hot weather jacket and was curious if folks found this one to be good.

There is a good selection of mesh jackets at http://www.newenough.com/. I have the TourMaster Flex jacket and pants. Converts from textile to mesh. I wear it from below freezing to over 100.

I've read some favorable reviews of the Buell Mesh Jacket. Just Google it you'll find them.

I have a "FirstGear" mesh jacket and really like it. It has the armor where you need it and it doesn't make you look like you just stepped off the movie set of "Mad Max". It has been 70's to 85's here and I enjoy the rides. If fact, I think it cools me more than when I was younger and just riding in a t-shirt.

Vanson used to make a Buell logo jackets but they have discontinued that. I found one a few weeks back but it was too small. When HD tried to order one my size, they told me about the it being discontinued.

Good luck with your search.

I have one. I got a deal just a couple of weeks ago. It is very airy which is why bought it. It comes with a waterproof liner. With the liner in, it is actually pretty warm.

Snojets First Gear jacket is real nice too. I got a deal on the Buell so That is what I have. I will add the First Gear pants to my current to fill out the suit.

You might want to give the Olympia Bushwhacker a look. It's got a longer GS cut and a useful array of pockets. There's also a waterproof, insulated, zip-in liner that provides a good deal of warmth and actually is waterproof.

I have a Tourmaster Draft which work good. The waterproof liner, and insulation is extra. It has pretty good protection, and is cooler then not wearing a coat. Bonus, it is pretty inexpensive. Another bonus, the red looks like it is Buell Red.

I have the Buell mesh jacket. Good air in the warm. Waterproof takes me down to 40 degrees. All the kids at church were wowed by it. I think it is a good looking jacket. Comes without back protection. I put some foam out of another jacket in it.
