I have looked all over the board and i can't get a straight answer about how much the Ops muffler leans out the bike. I noticed that American Sport Bike is no longer selling the Race ECM. So with that, can i richen up with the SPY cable, or do i need to worry about it. The only other mod i have is the drilled air box and i may get a K & N once this filter wears out. I still have two years left on a extended warranty, so i don't want to burn the motor due to a lean setting. This is a 2006 Uly with 8k on it. Also, anybody wanted to know about the special ops muffler, man is it sweet. Thanks Odie. |

at a glance, it looks like it gets beefier around 4-6k at 50-75% TPS. i would get ahold of al lighton personally and see if he has an ecm left over or will sell you the map. then you can plug it in with ecmspy. it's enough of a difference that you could hurt your engine i think. ymmv... |

Ask Odie if he has a fuel map, he may have one. Then use the ECM SPY to burn it in. I think he has some coustomers maps. if not, read this thread like 20 times and you can do it yourself. http://www.buelletinboard.com/forums/showthread.ph p?t=5176&page=3 There are some guys that have a stock and race 06 ECM fuel maps that they can send if so inclined. I have a 2007 with a stock ECM. Odie put the Special Opps muffler on my bike when I had 13000 miles on it... he said to just run it and the ECM will learn the new pipe. 19000 since then and everything is okay... runs good. Talk to Odie! |
