First time bueller!!! I have always had bikes(over 20 in the past 15 yrs),from street legal dirt bikes,to an R1.My favorite bike bar none is the DL1000 V-strom.Love the big bore dual-sport!!!So people thought I was crazy when I traded my Road King for a new xb12x.I took the harley on trade, and found out real quick harleys cruisers are not for me!!! Love the big bore dual-sport.So I traded even for a ulysses. This is my first buell,so I hope I made a smart choice. |

I got to ride yesterday for the first time. The torque was nice, instant pulling power.I Like!!!!I am already glad I traded the road king. The road king is a good bike in the right application, just not for me.It's kinda like pickin your nose, you really dont no why you do it,but as soon as you find what you were looking for,you can't get rid of it fast enough. The buell is pretty strong,it has no problem coming up in 2nd if you hold it at 4500rpm, then twist.Much different than even my R1,where a wheelie had to be coaxed with the clutch..I like plain old brute power, and this one seems to have quite alot. |

Wait 'til you start wailing through those western NC twisties near you. Be prepared for the aching face from the constant grin! |

I usually get over your way every month or so. Used to be a lot more prior to the economic slow down. I like to make a loop over New Found Gap, through your area, then over the Dragon or the Cherohala and back. With a little goofing around it makes a 300 smile day! We will have to hook up one weekend soon! |
