WELL I GUESS I'M THE FNG I JUST BOUGHT A 2009 ULY FROM COWBOY HD BUELL IN AUSTIN TX.(GOT A SMOKIN DEAL FROM DAVE BIGLEY AT COWBOY , DEAL COULDN'T HAVE GONE SMOOTHER ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN COLORADO AND DID THE WHOLE DEAL ON THE PHONE)) THATS THE GOOD NEWS, THE BAD NEWS IS IT WILL BE ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE I CAN GET TO AUSTIN TO RIDE IT, THE GOOD NEWS IS A BUDDY OF MINE PICKED THE BIKE TODAY AND IS GOING TO PUT THE BREAK IN MILES ON IT AND DO THE OIL CHANGES. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE END OF FEB. WHEN WE'RE GOING TO RIDE DOWN TO BIG BEND FOR A FEW DAYS. THE ULY WILL REPLACE A 04 BMW R1150 GS ADV I CURRENTLY RIDE BUT I NEEDED A BIKE THAT WAS EASER MAINTAIN AND WRENCH ON, I THINK THE ULY WILL FIT THE BILL

Congrats on the new bike, Cowboy HD is where I got my 09 from(in the studlier orange, dontcha know). If you're going to Big Bend and out, try and ride TX 170 between Study Butte and Presidio-that's an amazing road. It's had some flood-related drama recently, but they're working on it. Enjoy!

I rode TX 170 last january, great road, can't wait to run the uly down it. It will be a welcome change from the 3 feet of snow where I live in Colorado.
Sorry for SHOUTING, I knew Dbahm viewed the BadWeb sight just wanted to make sure he saw my 1st post. He's the one putting the breakin miles on the bike me.

} We spent a week out there at the Cowhead Ranch and rode 170, as well as many other great roads last year. I know he had fun on his R1150GSA, but this year he'll get to enjoy it on a Uly.
