How much crap should be on yer magnet? Just changing the primary oil in my 07 and wondering how much is allowed for filings on the magnet. Seems like alot to me but maybe thats normal.

Depends on your mileage.

I do my primary every 5,000 miles when I do my engine oil, instead of the factory 10,000 interval.

I've never had too much; I just changed mine at 25,000 miles 2 days ago, and there was only a tiny amount of magnetic "lapping paste".

I changed it once after break in and I have 16000 km's (10000 miles) on it now. Perhaps I should take the cover off and have a look at it. I got a little more than just paste. Thanks for the info.

Keep in mind that the oil is shared with the tranny too. I shudder at the thought. I hope you find something wrong in the primary. If you see nothing in the primary, next step may be to dissassemble the clutch and give it a real close inspection. The service manual describes this proceedure clearly.
I have some extra clutch parts if you need them.

ALSO--
If your bike has very low miles, this is fairly normal as the parts break in. It should not be expected after the first couple of fluid changes.
