Keep destroying vegetation and see how cyclical it'll become
I'm gonna go cut a shit load of trees, make some fire wood and build a fire until this global warming thing starts taking off on its own.

Swampy, I am burning wood right now and got 5 cord stacked out back. I ain't talking about small scale stuff. I'm talking about the deforestation that is going on, on a massive scale worldwide. You cut a bunch of trees on your land, and it makes room for new growth. You clearcut 10000 acres and put a 10000 home subdivision, you aren't going to be growing much there anymore.
I am not a treehugger, I am just commenting on some significant concerns. |

I don't think they are building 10,000 home subdivisions where there were once rain forests.
Besides, housing starts are down right now.

No, they are clearcutting rainforests and burning them to grow feedstock for ethanol production that makes CO2 waste gas to feed E85 SUVs from bankrupt GM.
See? It's all tied together. LOL.
In the 60s here today, and I have to work... but I rode in.

Who said anything about rainforests? The trees in the US are just as deserving of recognition.
