I just read in the new American Motorcyclist, that AMA members get 20% off of Garmin products up to twice a year. Does this apply to the Buell Zumo? I might have to snag one if it does.. |

Wish I knew that! At the rate I consume Garmin stuff, I can save a fortune. No clue if it works at dealers. |

In the past, I worked for a company that licensed Garmin products. Because of that, we got a huge employee discount. The only time that it really was the best deal was when a product was brand new. I bought by Zumo 450 through this discount at 38% off retail, when it first came out. Now, you can get the Zumo 450 for $200 less than I paid. Even if you can get the discount applied somewhere, be sure to search the internet for the best prices. Places like GPScity.com are a place to start. Also, I have found that "Techno-geeks" (as I have been called before) like to have the latest and greatest. But, GPS products don't tend to wear out quickly. So, there are some really good deals on ebay and maybe your local craigslist site, if you are in a bigger area. By the way, I love my Zumo. I don't leave home without it! |

Uncertain about the discounts but I can echo Naboyd's comments... I too never leave home without it. My MP3 music, the XM weather/traffic/radio, and the bluetooth phone interface are the shiz-niz! Have it integrated with the Autocom Super Pro AVi intercom system and have zero complaints. Absolutely the best system available! Recommend to everyone. A must have. |
