Got around to installing my Strada brackets for the XB-S bikes, they freaking rock. The measurements were a little off, but we still managed. We also installed the hand guard extensions too. The scary part was having to drill everything, I brought my spare stock ECM with me just in case.

Hmmm, I might have to do that on my Uly with the strada brackets. Right now I have to use an allen wrench and a box wrench. Btw, what was the value of your Air/Fuel mixture you changed up at TWO during Buelltoberfest? I need to adjust mine something fierce. (Micah) |

Wow! I'm gonna start calling you "Froggy Farkles"! Looks good. But whats all over your primary cover in the 9th pic down? |

Mine was all over the place there. Haven't plugged in since getting back, but it was down in 60's, hence why it was running like ass. It got better the moment I left North Carolina, perhaps its a sign? If you bug Strada I think he can sell you the knob setup, its really nice and convenient |

Ulynut, its oil and junk, I haven't dumped my catch can in about 5000 miles Edit, I dumped it at some BBQ place we stopped at down somewhere in Georgia, but that was about 2500 miles ago (Message edited by froggy on October 14, 2008) |

Oh, good. I thought you blew a gasket or something. Is that a camera mounted on there too? |

Yes, and currently it is facing down so I can see ahead when doing a wheelie! Actually, the camera caused the turn signal nut to shake loose, I am too lazy to go in and fix it, I am going to do it when I put the HID lights on |

Those Strada brackets look a lot different than mine. Adjustment slots instead of holes. Did Iain change the design recently ? Looks kinda like the MadStad brackets. |

These are for the Lightning bikes, I know he recently introduced the tool less setup for the Uly, but as far as I knew it was just knobs instead of a bolt. |

Wolf, thats why I just put the STT bars on today, I got the cross brace now, just got to order more ram mounts for it Pete, yes I live in the suburbs, we can go hire people to do it for us. Not like you people in the middle of Canada where the moose's come and have coffee with you before you fill them with lead |

Froggy, you're a star. Installation looks great! The slots were added a few months ago and more recently the tool-less adjusters - took a while to get the design refined and changed but all done now!!! The screen design has also just changed as the vacuum formed ones shown were giving problems - I could use about 1 in every 5 parts due to imperfections. Also available in a smoke grey tint now. Found a local company who make screens and windows for kit car manufacturers and supply original GT40 & classic Ferrari parts! Strada, can you supply a windshield that is wider than the Buell Tall for use with your brackets? I plan on getting the brackets but I'd love a windshield that starts out as wide as the flyscreen. I've thought of butchering my short screen to make a couple of adjustable wings off the side of my Buell Tall then use your brackets too. thanks Richard |

Froggy, LOL, you still have the check in pass to Amiccola Falls from that ride I took you guys on in your Tank Bag. Sad to say, I still have it there too. Strada, What would it cost me to get the quick adjust knobs? I have your brackets and I use a Uly Tall windscreen. |

Hi, Richard, yes, I also have a larger screen that is 480mm high and 400mm wide..... Just PM if you want more info. (The black eye-brows are optional and available in different colours) Slowride, I can sort out some quick adjusters but could you check which level brackets you have? If you send me a photo cose-up of the inside and outside of the brackets, I should be able to tell. Cheers Iain |
