So I've looked at everything and, now it has come down to an XT, but what is the right price? I was looking at an 08, but the price I was told just didn't seem to be quite in line with a previous year bike and a weak economy in general. Am I out of my mind to think I should be able to walk out the door with an 2008 XB12XT for under $12k? Or is there just not that much room for negotiation on the Buell's? Sorry, this is the first new bike I have bought, so I'm kind of in uncharted territory here. |

It's worth a shot dude. I'm thinking a dealer might just be willing to knock a G note off in this business climate. |

Not at our store, sold out of 2008 XT's back in August We do have a 2009 XT in Blue available for ya though, we could let it go for 12995 for winter, the others flew the coope for full Summer pricing. |

I bought an xt in Illinois 3 weeks ago for $11,500. There is another at the same price at a Harley Buell daeler in Thinesville Wisconsin. They are both black and both brand new. |

I was working with a dealer in Denver a couple of weeks ago on a 2008 XT. Last one he had, and was willing to throw in the freight and dealer prep. That's as far as he would go. There is another dealer with 2 2009 XT's and a 2009 XP, he's not budging on anything. With winter just weeks away I wonder if they're more willing to deal. How long will they hold out? |

How long will they hold out? Depends on when (if) the next one arrives. If you're only scheduled to get 2, one's gone, and one is sitting at the start of winter.... |
