I just got an email from Amazon asking if I still wanted to continue waiting for Court's "25 Years of Buell". Originally the book was slated for 1 July (I know, yesterday). Anybody know what the real release date is for the book? Wayne |

just got the same thing. it says if it ain't out by august first they'll cancel the order unless you click here. but when you click there it doesn't tell you what to do next. from what i've heard the one shipment of books were damaged and that's why they haven't got out yet. |

I have also received this email from Amazon. Would anyone care to remind us of an options we may have for ordering from a different source? It seems this may be an opportunity to drop what appears to be a reliability challenged Amazon.Com order in favor of something more direct. |

You could order directly from http://www.whitehorsepress.com/ as they are the people that are making the book, but if you were following the threads in the quick board and court in session you would know that there was issues with production causing delays. There are only a handful of books out there, and they are all at homecoming. |

What? Court isn't giving away free promotional copies to BadWebbers? |

Thanks, Froggy. I have canceled with Amazon and processed a replacement order with Whitehorse. |

The issue with the book delay is that the printer ordered the wrong paper and this pushed the press run back quite a bit. Whitehorse is thinking that they will be able to ship orders around th end of July. After they ship their orders they will provide books to the resellers like Amazon so Amazon will be a little later to ship than Whitehorse. |
