Hello Folks,

I am new here. I have been lurking while i decided to buy a 2008 ULY. I did and am happy with the bike so far. The mileage is a bit low so far, I hope it improves. I really want to put some more light on the road and am not able to find a light bar. Is there one made for the ULY?

Yep...scroll through this page and look for the posts by GME (Gary). I just bought one of his light bars for $35 shipped. Very nice piece of CNC machined aluminum.

Also consider upgrading your low beam to HID. They're very cheap these days. I just bought a set of two with slim digital ballasts for $100 on eBay.

Congrats on your Uly and welcome to BadWeB!

+1 for BadWebber GME's bar. I could have whittled one like it myself but his is 6061 aluminum and very nicely made. $35 is cheap IMHO considering time and such, and the assembly is incredibly strong.

I had to do some shade tree configuring to get my Hella FF50's to mount to it since the Hellas' mounting bolt is vertical and GME's bar orients horizontally, but the arrangement for almost 10k hasn't moved or vibrated loose. Lights that use a pedestal mount that pivots fore and aft shouldn't have a problem, such as the PIAA's.

+++ on the GME light bar, I have Piaa 1100x mounted on mine.
They will burn the Retina's out of a raccoon at 500 yards.
Again $35. shipped to my door.
