Filled up the frame today and got the line "sir, you probably now this, but one of your head lights is out"

When I explained the separate low / high beams (like most cars used to have!?!?!) I got the blank stare like I was from Mars.

No big thing , but I thought it was funny.

FYI - My 999s does the same thing, so did my R1200GS.....no one ever said anything.

The 999s and the R1200GS probably just never drew attention to itself like the Buell does : )

I got that headlight out comment by an entrance guard at Offutt Airbase so I now have modified so both are on.

Should have been able to toggle lo/hi/lo for the guard, yes?

I've got the low beam pin switch mod & a Kisan Pathblazer on the high beam.

I have had quite a few people (even from moving cars, shouting) "Your headlight is flashing!"

I just nod and smile. At least I know it's getting their attention. : )
