Is there such a thing, for color-matching the saddlebag inserts? Or is it a custom bodyshop match item? |

I've never seen it in a rattle can. As far as I can see it won't have a color code either, as all of the parts that color are either plastic or leather(none are factory painted). I custom mix my own with my urethane mix system, however it cannot be used at home due to the other components required for the processes. |

That's what I was afraid of. I knew there wouldn't be a "code" since there's technically no "paint". And for what its worth, parking lot stripe paint is VERY VERY close...but a couple hairs to the yellow side. Thought it was worth a shot as I rode home last night looking at the stripe down the middle of the road...went to Home Depot and got a can of the stuff and tried it on my trash can "just in case". LOL. Etennuly - ever thought of doing a core/exchange program for painting the bag bits? |

Just send your inserts to Etennuly, you will not be disappointed! Besides...your bags still function fine without the inserts installed, so a week or two shouldn't slow you down. |

Hey, Vern; do you think you could match the red of the XT? |

Crusty, that is what he just did for me. The '08 XT uses Racing Red, which is the same as the '07 9R and probably other models and years too. I used the XT flyscreen, but purchased the '07 Airbox cover because it came with the Black Buell emblems already installed. So he probably already has the right formula on hand. |

Everything keeps pulling me closer to an XT. Guess I'd better go visit some dealers this weekend and see what can be worked out. |

Color matched luggage is the way it should come from the factory (IMO)! |

That's exactly what I want to do...but I want to make the lower spears on the sidecases out of orange reflective tape (drivers around here are S-T-U-P-I-D!). Hmmm....methinks I found a use for my "stimulus" check, LOL. |

'Stimulus' check! Ow Now that's funny right there! Crusty, red no problem. XT looks like a great idea for a bike. I like it(but I'm sticking with an X even if I get a new one). Rat, PM me when you are ready. For what little I do on bikes I cannot afford to be a sponsor, so out of respect for BadWeB this needs to be done by a PM. Thanks guys! |

Ratbuell, I haven't tried it myself yet but I saw recently at Home Depot in the spray can section Clear Reflective spray paint. |

Ooh, clear reflective. May have to try that. I "homemade" a reflector into the fake taillight on the top box. If you ever take it off, you'll notice it's only a piece of white paper inside there. WTF? I went to Wallyworld and hit the trailer section, and got a package of the red/white trailer reflective stripes. Used the white side and covered the white paper with the reflector stickers. MUCH more visible now, even by the "light" of an LED keychain. |

Anyone got a colour code or advice for a newbie in the UK looking to colour match to Barricade orange? |
