Actually, my mount still looks, and "is" good, however if you look at the thing up close you will see a small split in the rubber flange above the bolt head. Who knows how long it will last before said split becomes a failure though.... |

Mine failed ~30k. Replacing it made a huge difference in smoothness. It wasn't an abrupt failure like yours, apparently. I also find that there are fewer vibes in the pegs if the primary chain is on the loose end of just right. |

Here is a picture of a brand new front motor mount. You can see waht appears to be a split, but it's not. When the mount fails, it appears to be the bond between the steel and rubber that fails and allows the bush to slide down.
