I am at about 7500 miles... replaced the rear at about 6000 miles with another D616 because I do ride on gravel and dirt and am pretty happy with it. The front has tread left but is starting to get a little cupped and vague feeling. If any of you have tried D616 on the rear combined with Sync on the front - how did it feel? (Street AND/OR dirt) |

I'm pretty sure somebody either here or at Advrider runs this as their preferred tire combination. |

I don't think you will have problems. I mix and match tires and have never had issues with it. I've never run that particular setup, though I have done 616 on the front and sync on the rear. I assume you've got a 616 on the front now. They do cup long before the tread wears off. It will feel like a new bike when you replace it with a new tire. Enjoy. |

Yea, I think Danger_Dude ran that combo for awhile. Should handle fine I'd think, go for it. |

Never tried a Sync on the front, but I have great fun with s Sync on the back and a 616 up front. It tracks much more predictably in sand and gravel, and I don't really notice any loss of traction from the somewhat less aggressive Sync tread on the rear. The Sync has worn like iron back there, with well over 7K miles on it and at least a couple more left. |
