I found a ,pdf containing English version of the instructions at twisted metal, despite them messed up the link to it. Fehl instruction in English The color picture is helpful enough that I think it will be pretty easy to get on, but I was wondering in anyone had a picture of the siderack from a different angle (preferably from below). |

Because I love and miss my Uly so my I spent an hour digging a path to my garage through 16 inches of show. Another hour or two chopping wood to put in my 1900s style wood burner. All so I could try and put the Fehling side case racks on my bike (seen at twistedthrottle.com purchased through a salesman from sporttour.com). I must say I'm probably going to have to replace some of the hardware and I'm still not 100% sure how it mounts to the bike. I guess I will figure it out.

I have it all put together now, everything just needs tightened up. So I'll take some pictures and post them then I tighten it down. Probably tomorrow, or at least really soon. |

If anyone is putting Fehling side racks on their bike these pictures will probably be more helpful then the instructions.
The bike is a little dirty because I took it out last weekend to get pics before I put all my winter additions on it. Next time it's fairly nice out I will get a picture of the racks on the bike. |

Well I have some more pictures, but the site won't let me post them. I will put something together soon. |

I guess I just had to lower the quality of the images.

I do not have a good picture with them and the seat on yet. If the snow in my driveway melts I'll try and get some this weekend. I got everything from a Salesman named Glen at Sport Tour for: Fehling Side Case Racks - $179 Givi E41NN Side cases - $459 for the pair I met him at the International Motorcycle show in Cleveland Ohio a few weeks back. When he offered free shipping I was sold. I like the cases better then the ones sold by HD. The Fehling side rack lets you use any Givi side case, so you do not have to go with the most expensive one like I did. I like having a pretty much all black case that had a small combo lock and locked with a key. http://www.sporttour.com/luggage/givi/case-e_41.htm

Davolous, Actually, in your license plate backside pic above -- those short flat brackets are meant to relocate the turn signals a bit rearward for better visibility and clearance from the cases. See image here. Some Fehling-supplied photos of their racks. Some close-up pics of my not-too-clean Fehling racks. Pictures of Fehling racks and Givi E45 luggage cases in the wild (Austria, Italy, Slovenia). HTH. Sorry I didn't see this thread a few days earlier. Hope you're out on the road soon. :-) Bob (Message edited by bobsims on March 13, 2008) |

Your right. Thanks, Bob. I'm just a dork...lol. They fit the plate perfect, so I just figure that is where they went. Thank you for pointing that out. |
