we have a guy doing them in Fibreglass here in Aus,and it would work out cheap,going back your way,I have one on the Uly,sweet as in my opinion,if you want to see pics message me with your email addy,and I'll send some pics on an XB12X.

I have the r.crins scoop. I looks just like the left side scoop and fit/function is great. It will only work with the factory header tho, as I had to mod mine for the micron.

American Sport Bike and Trojan both have a good product as well. Price seems to be about 250 in the US, and higher if you have to pay the exchange rate. Call Al at asb, maybe he will swing you a deal. Ebay may have one sooner or later but I have not seen a used one for sale.

I am also planning to install a RSS on my 2007 Uly, so I am interested in the options, I have seen the one in American Sports Bike, but I have not see the Trojan product yet, is is the same as the one from American Sport Bike?
