Author Message   Bertotti Posted on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 - 05:54 pm:        I'm curious how hot the headers are actually getting. I was thinking about the copper ceramic coating from jet hot. Just about 200 for header and muffler in the new copper color. 185 for the sterling header with muffler. I don't much like the bright silver but the copper color is kind of cool to me. So is a 1100 or 1300 degree rating good enough? I would hate to spend that kind of money and have it peel because it got to hot.
