I am undecided on seats. I have 08 uly with stock seat and I find the seat kinda makes me fall forward to the front of the seat. I am 6"4 so the height is not an issue. I am wondering about that seem that runs along the side of the 06 seat. I am planning on taking some long trips so I need the most comfortable seat.

I'm only 6'1" after hanging from my inversion table and the seams are not a problem for me. At 6'4" I can't imagine that you'd even have any pressure against the seams with your feet on the pegs. Unless of course you look like a fun-house mirror freak with 15" inseam.

I have a stock (orange) tall '06 seat in excellent condition - willing to trade for stock '08 seat.

thanks for the offer but I want to keep both because when I find a seat that is perfect. I am going to get the passenger piece covered in blue. I need a seat to ride while I am having that done.

I have both seats (07 and 06) the 06 is by far more comphy and cooler..I used the 06 on two trips, one 4,500 miles last year and one this year of 6,350 miles. The 07 would be a butt killer compared to the 06.

That seem started bothering me. I averaged about 450 miles a day for the first week of this trip. I'm 5'11'', so my legs probably bend down a little farther into the seam. I could see it being no problem for someone 6'4''
