Well I find it funny that sometimes I can pull in the clutch lever and roll the bike around with no apparent drag, on other occasions it feels like the clutch is still partially engaged. I would think if the clutch was miss adjusted it would fell like it wasn't releasing all the time but this is intermittent and I am at a loss. Any ides? There is no rhyme or reason I have noticed yet it could be cold it could be hot it doesn't happen often more like four or five time in the last two weeks. I have made no adjustment it is still at the dealer prepped settings. Thanks John |

If you stop the bike in gear, and then pull clutch in and push around it feels like its dragging. Stop it in neutrel and I think it goes away. I dont know why it happens. |

You are talking about when the bike is in gear right? I have the same symptoms on all of my bikes even my little 50cc Derbi. What happens is the oil soaked clutch plates stick together sometimes and cause a bunch of drag. Worst case it can the same a moving the bike in gear. Generally it is less pronounced when the engine is hot. This is also the reason that if you start the bike in gear, it can lurch forward a bit even though you have the clutch pulled in. Better off using neutral for moving the bike around and starting. |

Now that's good to know, I was worried I had an odd problem beginning. I have no wet clutch experience so you guys have taken a load off my mind. I always start in neutral but I do move it in first sometimes rather then putting it in neutral. Thanks |
