Starting to have some electrical problems on the Uly. Left directional works but the right directional does not. Noticed that when I jiggle the harness by the steering head the right directional starts to work. Low beam does not work but when I started to take the fender off to change the bulbs the low beam came on. 21,000 miles at this time. Looks like I will have to take the airbox cover off to look at the harness. Did anybody get this kind of problem solved by there dealer under the warranty? I had a problem with my right turn signal, took it to the dealer (Nassau HD) and it was taken care of. It was a loose connector somewhere under the airbox. Mine was intermittant, when the bars were turned just a little off center, signal would work. good luck, let us know how you make out |

I had this exact same problem. It was in to the dealership twice where it was "fixed by repairing the wiring" and finally by "replacing the faulty switch." Seems good now. All work was done under warranty, which makes me happy, but wish it hadn't taken three visits. |

Got it fixed. It was the ground wire to the steering neck that was loose. Did it myself. I could not have it in the shop for the next week or more. Mike Long Island, NY 06 XB12X Black of course (Message edited by RKC00 on July 16, 2007) |

glad you got it worked out. I avoid the dealer as much as possible. The two times it's been in were the fan died, and the BAS recall/turn signal problem. It was already going in for the recall when the signal screwed up. Maybe see ya on the road. chopped58 |

Thought I had it fixed. Same thing happened today on the ride to work. I did replace the low beam will I was in there. It seems to be working fine. Mike Long Island, NY 06 XB12X Black of course |
