I have a 2006 Uly that needs a front end... Freeway incident, don't remember much more, slight concussion... Unyhoo... I would like to install a 2008 front end on the bike, but I need part numbers. Do we know when the '08 parts and manuals will be available? Or any part numbers for the 2008 front end? James |

I went to my dealer on Tuesday. Nothing from the 08's are uploaded yet. I would assume that not until late August, MAYBE September they'll be uploadded. I'm hoping for a set of the Air Deflectors. |

Front end is reportedly interchangeable but no numbers yet, no service manual at my dealership. Do have some other stuff though: Triple Tail bag: 97020-08Y $99.95 heated grips: N1050-1AK $187.oo Heat deflectors under seat: M2138-1AK $23.50 Cargo net: 97009-07Y $6.95 Far from the complete list I am interested in (larger fan, larger oil cooler) it's a start. |

Dave, Is there a larger fan? I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere. I noticed that also have cloth luggage to fit inside the 3 Hepco Becker bags now, or have those been out for a while? |

Ditto on the larger fan question. Was there anything said about this on the factory tour? Does it make less noise? |

I ordered the pair of heat deflectors yesterday. Hope they work. |

Let us know where you put the rear brake fluid reservoir. Mine would be right in the middle of the deflector I think. |

The deflectors retrofit to '06 and '07 Ulys, so you won't need to relocate anything; they just snap in place. |

In studying the pictures for responding, I now see how it works. It actually hides the reservoir. BTW, I've wondered what the heat does to the brake fluid. The deflector will not allow the fluid any cooling at all. I used the aluminum foil method and have the reservoir on the outside. |

Thanks for the part numbers. I can't wait to get a 2008 front end on the bike. |

The engine heat is nowhere near the temps that brake fluid sees during braking, so don't worry too much about it. |
