Greetings to all, Just picked up a slightly used 06 Ulysses and have been reading the numerous posts about the mirrors. However I can't seem to find them at the aformentioned price that Smcnamara got them for. That being the case, Smcnamara can you PM me the info on where to purchase these mirrors? I would like to get my hands on a pair. Thanks, Joe |

About 2 mins after I called my order in I got a call back from the guy at Wagner Motorsports (thanks Crusty) asking what they where going on. I told him, he said that he has had 4 orders that week, maybe Buell will get an idea?? Horr |

Just picked mine up and they cost more than I was quoted... $18.49, not $18.25! Won't have time to mess with them until the w/e but these are gonna be cool, maybe BMC will get an idea. |

I am happy to report that the mirrors are durable too. I was concerned that because they stick out past the bar ends, that they would get destroyed when the bike is dropped. I put them to the test the other day, i was offroading, got stuck and the bike fell over onto a big rock. Damage to mirror: light scrape! |

OMG, before your last picture, the bags fell off and the mirrors reverted back to the old ones! |

lol I accidentally posted the pics here, I had 8 windows open and dumped the code in the wrong box. I deleted the post like 20 seconds after I realized it, not sure how you saw them, but whatever. I'll take some close ups of my now beat-up mirrors |

After contacting my local Aprilia dealers here in San Jose, Ca, I was quoted the $38 each price also. I checked out of state, Phoenix, and got em for $18.25 each plus $11 for shipping. Still saved about $30. If you can't find 'em locally, get em shipped, and still save some dough. My thought is this...if the dealer is a direct Aprilia dealer, you will find the $18.25 price. If they are a multi-brand dealer, they jack up the prices to make some profit. |

Just finished putting my mirrors on. I arrived at Wagner soaked from a thunderstorm, and when I pulled up on the Uly, the parts manager said, "I bet you're John Jackson, and you're here to pick up your mirrors". I guess a few people have been ordering the mirrors from them. Mike, Wagner is a multi line dealer. They sell BMW, Aprilia, Ducati, Moto Guzzi and they even have an extremely sexy MV Augusta on the floor. I think they're just doing the Right Thing with the pricing on the mirrors. They should sell Hondas. It only makes sense that someone should buy a Valkyrie from Wagner's. Anyway, tomorrow, I'll take the Uly out and see how I like the mirrors out in the world. They look pretty nice on the bike in the garage. |

got mine at Rockridge Two Wheels in the peoples republic of bezerkley. $34 or so for the both, 3 day wait. Mo at Rockridge two wheels is a cool guy. I just inserted the new mirrors into the stock sockets. I have a minor vibration at 3k but it is much less than the vibration in the stock mirrors at any speed. The new mirrors are rock steady at all other speeds. good upgrade. |

Cost me about $80 out the door for my set but they really reduce the vibration. I got them for the design but I am pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the images and the positioning. I get minor blur above 65 but not much. Very happy with them. |

Here's my Uly with 'em: They seem to fuzz about the same as stock to me, however I really like how low they sit and the view is excellent, just look plain better in any case!

Thanks for the pictures. With all the talk about these mirrors, there never seemed to be enough pictures. Sorry to hear about the fuss, I am hoping the they do better for me, as I have them currently on order from Crusty's dealer in Mass. |

A quick ride report on my new mirrors. I'm pretty much of the same mind as Xbimmer. They don't seem much clearer than the stock mirrors, but they have a better field of view, and I can see more of what's behind me. They're not quite as good as I was hoping they'd be, but they are a good deal better than stock. They're worth the price; to me at least. |

Mine are night and day from stock. No more vibration at all at any speed. I do have the HVMP bar ends and thought they didn't do much with the stock mirrors. Maybe the HVMP and Tuono combo is the difference. |

The HVMP bar ends are on my list. Isn't it fun personalizing a bike? |

Just ordered mine from Moto Meccanica in Santa Rosa CA . They said that the old price was $30 something and they'd dropped to $18. Guess it pays to find new stock. |

Moto Meccanica couldn't understand why I didn't know for which years Tuono I wanted mirrors for (it's 06-07). They sure hadn't seen the postings. |

My S3T mirrors have left me spoiled . . .particularly whenever I find myself trying to see what is going on behind me while riding any Buell equipped with the "Mickey Ears" mirrors. Since I recently joined the ranks of the Uly-ites, the whole mirror question has acquired a much more personal aspect. Thanks to the inventiveness and alertness of those posting in this topic (not to mention the able directional assistance from Smcnamara) I was able to acquire a set of these reflective wonders for my very own. Just for argument's sake, I called the local Aprilia dealership and was told, "$65 each, and we will have to order in the right side part." . . ."Thanks . . ., but no thanks" says me. Using Sean's connection in Florida, the cost was less than $60 for both including shipping. After installing them on the Uly my first test ride brought on both a feeling of nostalgia, longing and loss . . .for I could no longer gaze in admiration at my bug splattered arms and elbows any longer. I am sure that I hold elbow fixation in common with the design/engineering folks in East Troy that have provided us facility for fascination since the "Mouse Ears" were first delivered to us in 1995. My second reaction was one of horror, terror and fear . . .there was a great deal of very frightening cager action going on behind me that I had not noticed before. It continues to scare the begheezus outa me! YMMV . . and always consider the source. |

Doncasto: I guess you talked to the same local Aprilla dealer that I did a couple weeks ago. I told them no thanks, and ordered them from Crusty's contact. |

I took a couple shots, just to add to the ones already here. I do however feel that I have less vibes with the new mirrors, but maybe that is me?

What ! No close-up action photos with 1 stock mirror and 1 Tuono mirror so we all can see the difference ? Seriously Birdmanrh, looks GOOD. I can see quite a few items blacked out. Any chance for a good side shot ? |
