"9 out of 10" ...that's how much fun my daughter said today's ride was. "So much fun, I forgot to check my fuel level!" ...my daughter really dislikes Wolfpen Gap, but because the fuel light came on about 20 miles outside of Suches, this was the shortest way in, and to the gas station. We did make it to the station, which is good, because my daughter would have hated to push the bike (hey, only a licensed rider can steer it!). You should have heard her on the phone, talking to mom, "Ft_Bstrd was really, really fast" [no, no, no, my daughter does not really call him fat bastard! yes, I am a terrible parent, but dude, I'm not that bad!] "No, mommy, I don't think you could have caught them." [ouch, yeah, that one stung a little.] I'd like to compare Chad's .gpx file to mine, to see how far ahead you guys were! I don't know what to do about my front rotor. That pad gunk is pretty tough. In 15k miles of riding that's never happened. Also, I checked the back brake, and guess everything is spec. The beveled edges of the new pads threw me for a loop, as it creates the illusion that the pads aren't making contact with the rotor! We had a blast! Thanks for letting me know you were going to be in the area! | ||

Ulywife, I couldn't resist. I had an extended porch pass, gas to burn, and the need for a TWO burger! Jason, it was a blast! I really don't want to have to deal with the wrath of your wife to prove that I'm not that fast.  Chad and I decided that you are completely screwed! You are raising a complete heart breaker with ice water in her veins. Nothing will impress her but going mach 5 with her hair on fire! I feel sorry for the boys.  | ||

I think we have determined the tire wear problem:  Buellers even come in small, medium, and large.  Of course since Chad and I are about the same weight, he likes to call me the SCG version.  | ||

Jason...good meeting you! I've ridden up in North Georgia a couple of times, and never done that stretch of Hwy60 south of Suches. That rocked! We weren't going THAT fast...I didn't accumulate any additional scrapes on my knee pucks. LOL!  Tell Mo she can ride with us anytime. She's a trooper! | ||

You guys suck and I hate when my business sucks! I had my front tire mounted in a rush so that I could make it, and an employee didn't show up as planned so I had to stay and work, wrecking my weekend. On the brighter side I have had to ride my Uly over 450 miles for business since last Friday! One trip had me 80 miles out on the slab and somehow it was 140 twisty miles back! It seems as though you guys found the fun you were seeking, I'll catch you next time, somewhere. Oh yeah, new Sync on the front is SWEET ! | ||

I think F_b has two countdowns going! Buelltoberfest is just our "fix" to get us through to MBV! Not to mention the fact that we'll get to ride with the 3%er's instead of them working all weekend. | ||

As long as there are no track day conflicts like last time, I'll do my best to make March Badness. Fatty had so many good things to say about it. Especially about some Multistrada riding lady. |
