Those remind me of the Terminator when his robotics start showing thru. Very cool looking lights. |

both ballasts were installed behind the front fairing, easy to do simply remove the 6 screws panel and you now have lots of room to add electronic equipment in there... |

I really like that setup. Make sure the front tube protectors dont contact the lights when the forks compress completely. That can add excitement to what may already be an interesting moment. |

Those HID lights are indeed bright! Ft_bstrd was behind me at night on the way to MBIV and he was easily lighting the way for Brad and myself! When he lead we all ran over a rabbit(i think it was a rabbit), I believe the lights cooked it to a medium well before it was even hit! |

I drilled the holes in the middle of the bracket and lucky me the light just barely made it in front of the forks (actually the back end is slightly touching the fork)... tip: position your lights to make sure there is room for them before drilling the hole... could have gone 1/2 inch forward for more room at the back. Also the Hellas have their cable running from the right side in the manual but flip them 180 deg and you still get power sent to the housing (running left side here).

the bracket was bought from www.Utylity.com but I believe Lorazepam is not longer selling them and its website is no longer active...the lights are on www.Hella.com ...consumer section, they are called Micro DE. (ps they are expensive but you have to pay for quality and performance) cheers} |
