Looking into some new pads and I was thinking about giving the Lyndall's a try, but they do not have front pads for the Uly listed on their website. Any help??? Thanks Ken |

I believe the front pads for all XB's are the same. Check with sponsors American Sport Bike or Appleton HD/Buell (maybe others); they keep the right pads in stock. |

Yep...all XBs (barring the XBRR) use the same front pads. |

I have one set of Lyndall golds left in stock for XB's. They are $53.95 for BadWeb members. Email me at jcox@cycleconnectionh-d.com if you are interested. Josh |

I just put a new rotor and Lyndall gold pads on my Uly last night. Fit perfect. Steve |

I just put Lyndall's all the way around and also put on new shoes and the '07 springs. My arms weren't quite ready for that first quick stop from 20MPH. I just about smacked my faceshield on the ZG windscreen. The bike has never stopped like this and there was no massive brake dive like before. |

You've seen the light! The Lyndalls pads should be on there from the factory. |

I am also considering the Lyndalls. I have just recently felt a little pulsating in the front brake. Would replacing the pads be enough to take care of the problem, or should I have the dealer do some warranty work on it first (like what FB did), then install the Lyndalls? |

Most likely the pulsing you feel is the stock pads leaving "gunk" on the rotor. The Lyndalls will clean the gunk off in short order. |

Maximum - They eliminate the pulsing for some people. They reduced it for me, but it didn't go away entirely. I got the rotor replaced and then all was good. My suggestion is get the rotor replaced first and then swap pads. If nothing else, it shows up on the factories radar this way. If you fix it yourself, they don't know that anything was wrong. |

I only had 4500 miles on my bike and was just starting to feel the pulsing and and the same time it seemed like my braking efforts were getting greater for decent stopping power. I just buffed my rotors with some emery cloth to remove all the black deposits from the stock pads. After getting it all together, I took it out and did the Lyndall break-in procedure on the back of the packaging. No more pulsing, great stopping power and much better feel than stock. The rear also has good feel. The stock rear was either off or on in the dirt. The Lyndall is much more controllable in loose stuff. |
