With all the negetive experences I hear of with Buell dealers, I thought I'd share one of the postive experences I've had with Downtown H-D/Buell in Tukwilla Washington. Some of you might remember the thread I started about a month ago concerning failed rear wheel bearings on my Uly: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/266037.html?1175704719 I have just picked up my bike from them, and they have REALLY fixed me up. They replaced the entire rear wheel assy and swingarm assy. While working on my bike the tech (Kevin Garrison) noticed that the belt wasn't looking as good as it could. The sprokets were also looking quite rough as well. I've also noticed tension pulley bearings have been noisy lately as well, and that didn't get past Kevin either. So now my bike has a new swingarm assy, a new rear wheel assy, axle, drive belt, both sprokets, tension pulley, and an oil change.....all on warranty. I also had them do the bank angle sensor recall, and a TPS zero. The entire bill came to $52 dollars including tax, for the 1/2 hour labor for the TPS reset. What a friggin' deal!! I am very satisified with the service of Downtown H-D/Buell. I would recommend any Buell owners to them. Kevin is truly an enthusiast to the sport of motorcycling, and knows his way around Buells. Every one else there is good about making sure I'm happy when I leave as well. Enough of this.......I'm going to unload my bike and go for a ride!!! |

Debueller, That is great! I wish that I could offer up a story of the same kind of stellar service. Hopefully Buell dealers will strive to this level in the future and it is great to hear of a good Buell dealer experience. |

(Quote) Where are they located? Downtown H-D/Buell is located in the outskirts of Seattle, in a town called Tukwilla. http://downtownhd.com/Default.asp |
