Well I just picked up the latest edition of our Australian Bi-weekly motorbike mag called AMCN,and turned into page 6,and there it was a bike called the Travertson V-Rex,rumour is it will come out of the Buell stable, powered by the V-rod donk, has a very Buell type front brake, and looks to have a morpheous steering system on board,as well as a single sided rear swingarm, looks impressive with a dollar value of around US$39,990,or roughly $51,000 Aussie smackers, now I wonder wether the minister for finance will let me extend my other loans to get one......Once again it looks like Aussie inginuety wins the day.... |

The article actually says "It is rumoured the bike will be sold under the Harley-Davidson umbrella. Buell, which is now fully owned by Harley-Davidson, started its relationship with the parent company in a similar way." |

No worries mate my point was it is not going to be a Buell. The bike is very futuristic, thought there might have been a bit more info on the net. |

It looks like Honda Rune meets Bimota Tessi. It does'nt work for me. But then neither does a V-Rod. I'm sure someone will buy it. Seems to be no shortage of money for this stuff. I'm going back to the new issue of Cycle World now. "Radial Hell" by Jessie James, and Matt Hotch's "Vinnie" Are much more interesting to me and just as unobtainable as the V-Rex. Tim |

There are no limits to what man will do to machines... This threat probably belongs on the quick board. |

Looks like someone is letting the blind kids play with the drafting boards again. |

Humm...I think I'd take a Hayabusa with a 20" extended swingarm...it'd have a shorter wheelbase. |

I also want the tracked bike! I could ride that thing in ice, snow, anywhere. I shudder to think what would happen if the track were to separate at speed though..... |

I was horrified to see the use of extremely graphic pornography in this link, if this will become commonplace on the Badweb I will have to cancel my subscription. What if my children happened to walk my my computer as I was perusing this site, the horror ......the horror.. |

It looks like the motorcycle equivalent of the aftermath of a frog in a blender. |
