Has anybody seen crash bars for the Uly yet. I saw some on a bike on ebay this spring and am very interested in locating a set. |

We've done the Powers Stuntworx cage on one of our customer bikes. If you are interested, we are a Powers dealer. He also used it to mount some huge PIAA driving lights. Here is the cage on a stunt/show Firebolt we did up: (Message edited by josh_cox on September 23, 2006) |

That had to be the guy. I almost bought that bike too. He was in Joplin and I think that is were Josh is. It had the PIAA lights mounted on it. Black bike with bags and low miles if I remember right. That's a pretty wild bike there Josh. Joel |

I'll have to ask Bob if he is still selling it. I have a friend looking for a used one. That Firebolt has attracted a lot of attention, but no buyers. It's been on display in a lot of places. I need to get it back on the floor and sell the thing. |

This is the one that connects directly to the motor mounts right? Won't this xfer all the vibs to the frame? |

Looks like it connects to the engine side of the mount up front and the frame on the back. That's gotta be vibey... anyone run these before? |

The engine cages retail for $300 so your BadWeb price would be $270. You can get them in several colors. The one in the pic is amber like the wheels, but we put a black one on the Uly before. I haven't noticed any extra "vibe" with the frame cage and 12 o'clock bar on the Firebolt. The install is time consuming, but not too hard. The chin fairing also has to be filed a tiny bit for it to fit. This model of crash cage has been well tested though. Powers makes cages for all kinds of bikes, this particular model is run by Team X-Treme on their stunt Buells. If you would like to see more pics, check out the firebolt in our photo gallery on our site. Under "select catagory," pick "show xb12r": http://www.cycleconnectionh-d.com/Photo_gallery.asp Let me know if you are interested; PM or email me jcox@cycleconnectionh-d.com. |
