I'm picking up a '93 Dyna Lowrider after work tonight. My wife could'nt be happier! I got a good price on a second owner bike. I don't think the guy ever washed it but it seems mechanically sound and rode decent. It will be a nice project but is very rideable the way it is. The best news is-I get to keep my Ulysess! My trip to Sturgis is going to be a lot better not playing the "should I trade or not" game in my head for 800 miles. I'm so happy, I'm going to ignore my screaming Fan on the way to work this morning. Thanks again for all the support on my "Wife hates my Uly" thread. Have a safe trip to Sturgis to all that are going. I hope to run into some more Ulys out there. Later, Tim | ||

It's always nice to get another bike to ride. Can't have too many in the garage. Ignore that fan noise or buy a right side scoop. | ||

Wise choice to retain the Uly. Fast.. My girlfriend hates the Uly too, but in a moment of weakness I found out why. "It makes me want you to go fast and that scares me." ... I can live with that kinda hate... I am stuffing my piggy bank for a GS1200 a couple years down the line... Wont sell the Uly then either... I take every fire road off the Blue Ridge Parkway I come too now.. What a hoot!!!! Ride Va. |
