I'm preparing to take my Uly to the dealer for the first time. I have 1400 miles on the clock. I have changed the oil twice myself, and have had no major problems so far. Besides the kickstand problem what other potential problems should I have checked? |

Timing. Many bikes come advanced from the factory. Mine included. |

Hey Craven, Not to be a wet blanket but I would recommend that you buy a service manual and start doing all of your own service. My only trip to a Buell dealer for service resulted in my worst service experience ever for anything that I have ever owned. My bike still wears the scars. Buell service is definitely the weak link in the total Buell experience. After my experience I vowed to learn the bike and do all of my own service if at all possible. So far, I find that the bike is very easy to work on and the shop manual is excellent. It is actually quite easy and fun to work on the Ulysses. Hope that your dealer is better than mine. Have them do the TPS reset since you have to have the software to do it. Happy Trails, WindRider |
