Hi BB&D, I'm soon to get on a waiting list for an '07 XB12X. I'm curious about whether or not exploded diagrams with part numbers are available for most or all assemblies of the bike? I like to do my own wrenching where I can. Being able to order parts off the Internet would be a nice option. My KTM, for example, came with such reference material and is similarly available online, i.e. www.ktmtalk.com. Also, how about service bulletins (not just recalls). Can we arrange to have Buell mail these to us or post online somewhere. I'm willing to purchase/subscribe to such things provided the price is reasonable. Thanks in advance for your replies. |

I agree- I would be willing to pay. I too have been a long time KTMTalk member and still am, even though I haven't had a KTM for a couple of years now. |

You can order a official factory manual-99494-06Y and also the official factory catalog-99575-06Y. The catalog has exploded views and part numbers as well as a hardware listing. They are both about $60.00 each. |

The Buell factory SERVICE and PARTS (2 different books) are the best in the motorcycle industry. You'll find exploded diagrams and detailed procedures. If you need part numbers for the books let me know of contact any Buell dealer. I have one of every book Buell has ever published if you need help with non-current stuff. |

Ah, very good. Those are the answers I was hoping to hear. Looks like the Knowledge Vault and the rest of this forum is a pretty good source for discovering tech bulletins and such. Thanks again for your timely and thoughtful replies. |
