We just parted ways with Juggallo and Stu, in Leroy. The rear tire is showing cords on the Big Kids Blast so we are nursing it home. What a ride! I am glad it was so cold Friday on the way UP, cause it made it just that much of a better ride coming home in the warmer weather. Sunday we rode down M-119, the Tunnel of Trees from Cross Village to Harbor Springs. A recommended ride when you are below the bridge. Thanks Kreature, good luck on your venture, Thanks Daves, and all the rest for the great company and fellowship. |

Just got home and settled in. I will post pics tomorrow from the trip. Dave I will be contacting you soon for replacment parts from my stunt coarse. Had a great time, oh yeah, sounds like I will be making a trip to appleton before the summer is over with my buddy to put him on a buell. I second the route M119. Also, if you get a chance take M37 it was a great ride home today. Sorry you missed it Swampy, but glad you made it home ok. |

I just got home from the WI ULY trip. Thanks to Dave and everyone else who attended for a good time. Some photos aand some comments. Rode ~1900 miles. 30 F on Sat. morning?? I really like the Drummer exhaust and catch can. Check out pic of what accumulates in 350 miles. I swapped back and forth between the stock and tall Buell windshield during my trip. The stock one works best for me (5'11"). The dyno shows an increase of ~5 HP and 7 ft-lbs TQ with direct link over race ECM. BUT drivability is not so good. I'll try and get that straightened out or just swap back to a race ECM if need be. Stopped at Knoxville HD for engine/primary oil change. Service writer ragged on Buells and specifically Erik, what is with that?? Ran the Dragon, 28, etc., ULY handled it well. Frank

A couple of more comments. Dave set my suspension up for my weight per the manual. I was also running the tires at 36/38 psi. I experienced no bar oscillations, no squirmy front tire (even on grooved interstates) and the tires performed fine at the Dragon and look to be wearing fine after almost 2000 miles. The stock seat was comfortable too but I still might give the low one a shot. YMMV Frank |

The plaque with the story of Epoufette somehow missed the most important historic event in Epoufette: The day Stu found his saddlebag bracket broken and rubbing his rear tire! |

I'm glad you decided to come along. Glad you had fun too. It's nice to ride a Buell like the Uly, so you can ride on the back of it with me if you want to. |

All I know is that once again luck was shining on a Buell event last weekend. Today, one week later it is 40 degrees and raining, been raining for 2 days now.Maybe some sleet. They got snow in the UP yesterday. The ride would not be much fun today or the rest of the weekend. We got lucky. |
